Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using RideSharp ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

RideSharp helps cyclists track bikes, components, builds, activities, and wear. Features may change over time, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Third-party integrations

RideSharp connects to Strava at your request to import activities. Your use of Strava is governed by Strava's own terms. You can disconnect at any time from your settings.

RideSharp also queries Open-Meteo to determine weather conditions for your activities. We are not responsible for downtime, inaccuracies, or changes to either third-party service.

5. Acceptable use

Don't abuse the Service: no scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to disrupt other users. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Wear estimates are estimates

Component wear, maintenance, and end-of-life indicators are informational estimates. Always inspect your bike and follow manufacturer guidance. RideSharp is not responsible for equipment failure or injury.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RideSharp is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including data loss or service interruption.

7. Data ownership

You retain ownership of the data you enter into RideSharp, including bikes, builds, and wishlist items. We may use aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you to improve the Service.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the profile page. We may terminate accounts for violations of these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.
